Summer is already here. And, summer can be really harsh on your skin due to excessive humidity and dryness.

SCRUB YOUR DEAD SKIN OFF:
During summers, the sun dries up your skin causing flaky and itchy skin and many other skin problems. You ought to get rid of your dead skin cells by using a good body scrub according to your skin types.Using a nourishing body scrubs you can get rid of all the dead skins which also helps in exfoliating your skin.
There are many face and body scrubs available in the market and online beauty stores which you can buy, but I have some of the home remedies which you can try by yourself at home for effective results.
HOW TO PREPARE SCRUB FOR REMOVING DEAD SKIN:
- Sugar and oil:
Add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of any oils ( most preferably coconut or olive oil). You can also add honey for some extra consistency. Scrub in your face and body as and often required.
- Coffee Powder and Coconut oil:
- Raw milk and Semolina (suji):
SUNSCREEN IS YOUR BFF!
Sunscreen is must whether it’s SUMMER or WINTER. You need to apply a good sunscreen with high amount of SPF to provide maximum protection to skin. You need to apply sunscreen not only in your face but to all the exposed parts of your body.
Also, throw out your last year’s sunscreen and replace with a new bottle as the sunscreen losses its effectiveness. You need to apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before stepping out in sun so that it can absorb properly in your skin for the maximum protection.
HYDRATE YOUR BODY:
Body looses its hydration and nourishment quickly during summers. Make sure you drinks lots and lots of waters and fruit juices to stay hydrated from inside. Also you need to hydrate your body from outside by applying moisturizers right after you get from your shower, as cream soaks better in damp skin.
You ought to drink lots and lots of water for maintaining your hydration as well as not letting your skin dry. You can also have raw fruit juices, I would personally suggest you to have some watermelon juice as its not only delicious but it helps in keeping your skin hydrated due to high water content and has its own beauty benefit.
During summers, your face tends to get more oily and greasy with lots of sweat which can lead to acne and pimples. So its necessary to cleanse your face properly based on your skin types to get rid of all the dullness and dirt from your skin. You need to use a cleansing foam or a face wash to cleanse your skin based on your skin types.
It is absolutely a myth that your skin does not require any moisturizers during summers. In summers, you sweat a lot and the face becomes more oily due to which it starts stripping off its natural moisture from the skin which results in dull and dry skin. So it is necessary to moisturize your face and skin during summers to give the extra hydration and renew dullness.
